WALANG epekto sa Malacañang ang bahagyang pagbaba ng trust at approval rating ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa inilabas na pinakahuling survey ng Pulse Asia.

Kasunod ito ng 74% trust rating ng Pangulo mula sa dating 85% habang 78% naman sa approval rating mula sa dating 85%.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo na mataas pa rin ang resulta ng survey kahit bahagyang buma­ba ito ng ilang puntos.

“Still high. The ra­ting is still high; it’s more than 70%. Surveys fluctuate depending on when they get them. If it is taken at a time when there are controversies hounding, it may affect the survey results. The fact remains that 78% plus remains still high,” ani Panelo.

Hindi inaalis ng kalihim ang posibilidad na nakaapekto sa survey ang mainit na kontro­bersiya sa ‘ninja cops’ na iniimbestigahan ng senado.

Pero magkagayunman, sinabi ni Panelo na mataas pa rin ang nakuhang marka ng Pangulo sa Pulse Asia survey kahit pa mayroong kontrobersiya sa isyu sa ‘ninja cops’ kung saan kinaladkad ang pangalan ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police General Oscar Albayalde.

Ang survey ng Pulse Asia ay ginawa noong September 16-22 sa kainitan ng mga isyung may kinalaman sa Good Conduct Time Allo­wance Law, polio outbreak, hazing sa Philippine Military Academy at African Swine Fever. (Aileen Taliping/Prince Golez)
