May kabuoang 315,299 overseas Filipino worker (OFW) na na-stranded sa Metro Manila dahil sa lockdown ang nakabalik na sa kani-kanilang lalawigan dahil sa Hatid-Tulong Program ng pamalaan.

“In response to the call of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to send our OFWs back to their provinces, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) joins the National Task Force for COVID-19, and concerned government agencies, in establishing the Hatid-Tulong Program,” ayon sa Facebook post ng DOTr.

Sa bilang na ito, 95,783 OFW ang ibiniyahe mula Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange habang 161,432 ang inihatid mula sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2. Samantala, 58,084 OFW naman ang hinatid sa pamamagitan ng barko mula Manila North Harbor. (IS)
