Kahit dalawang taon na ang nakakaraan nang mapalitan si Michelle Obama bilang First Lady ng White House, siya pa rin ang nag-top sa listahan ng World’s Most Admired Women, ayon ito sa ginawang study ng YouGov mula sa 42,000 people from 41 countries.
Pumangalawa lang sa former US First Lady si Oprah Winfrey na sinundan nina Angelina Jolie, Queen Elizabeth II at Emma Watson.
Ang former US President naman na si Barrack Obama ang tinanghal na World’s Most Admired Man at second lang si Bill Gates. Nasundan pa sila nina President Donald Trump, Clint Eastwood, at Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Naging malaking tulong kay Michelle ang kanyang autobiographical book na “Becoming” na may 10 million copies sold at parating sold-out sa kanyang mga book tours.
“I’ve been so humbled by the response to the tour thus far and the overwhelming interest we’ve received from so many communities we weren’t able to visit this year. Because we’re role models, it’s important for us to be honest and say, ‘If you’re in a marriage and there are times you want to leave, that’s normal, because I felt that way,’” sey ni Michelle.
